TT Electronics/Optek Technology's OP280 series are made up of GaAlAs infrared LEDs mounted in a plastic leadless PLCC-2 SMD packages with flat lens windows that allow for wide beam angles. All parts have silicone encapsulation to increase the longevity of the product.
