CTS’s 290 Series encoder features a small but robust 9 mm design with metal shaft, metal bushing, and stamped metal contacts. The 290 Series has a continuous rotation with a 2 bit Gray Code output and is available with options of 20 detents and a momentary switch. They are a good substitute for variable resistor customers wanting to convert to digital.
