Honeywell Sensing and Control's MICRO SWITCH™ ZM Series standard miniature basic switches are precision snap-action mechanisms enclosed in accurately molded plastic cases. Each switch contains a spring and set of contacts that convert mechanical energy applied to an actuator into an electrical output. These switches are designed for high precision, presence/absence detection, where physical contact with an object is permissible and in simple on-off actions.
With an operating force of 0.18 oz to 8.78 oz, MICRO SWITCH™ ZM Series basic switches are designed for application flexibility. The series has three contact material choices, including silver, gold-plated silver, and silver-tin-indium oxide. In addition, engineers can choose from three termination styles (PCB, quick connect, and solder) and five actuator options (pin plunger, straight, roller, simulated roller, L-shaped). The ZM Series switches are carefully manufactured and thoroughly inspected.
