APM's clear IP66/68-rated sealing boots offer hermetic protection for unsealed breakers against shorting from penetration of water, lubricants, dust, dirt, sand, salt spray, corrosive industrial atmospheres, and fungus on internal contacts. Even factory-sealed devices with exposed actuators are susceptible to ice and dust build-up. These sealing boots offer the additional benefit of preventing seepage past the mounting hole cutout from the environment and accidental spillage from coffee and soft drinks, etc.
The transparent design allows for easy breaker status recognition and operation of lever-actuated circuit breakers.
