Taiyo Yuden's BRHL2518 inductors (2.5 x 1.8 mm and 1.5 mm max. height) reduce volume by approximately 65 percent and enhance DC-DC converter efficiency by about five percent compared to their CBC3225T2R2M series. The use of single-sided electrode terminals, optimum core design, and the prevention of increased DC resistance through a reduced size all contribute to the BRHL efficiency.
