TE Connectivity broad range of plug-in relays includes conservatively designed Potter & Brumfield relays, feature-rich SCHRACK relays, and economical OEG relays. Contemporary models such as the XT, PT and SNR series require just a fraction of the space needed by some legacy types.
Typically applied where a high number of operating cycles may cause a relay to wear out and require field replacement, plug-in relays are used in controls for many different types of industrial machinery as well as elevator systems.
Various contacts offer ratings from dry-circuit to 20A, and arrangements range from 1 Form A through 8 Form C. Both AC and DC coils are available and some relays incorporate indicators as well as test buttons or levers and marking areas. Sockets for DIN rail, panel and PCB mounting further expand the product line. Other accessories include jumpers, hold-down clips, marking tags and electronic modules that provide protection, indication and timing functions when plugged into a socket with a relay.
