Portescap introduces the new h3 stepper, High-torque Housed Hybrid. The 1.8 deg step motor is available in NEMA 17 and 23 frame sizes and provides industry leading torque output. Various stack lengths are available in each frame size and windings can be customized for the individual application.
The h3 series offers several upgrades over the standard hybrid step motor. The Aluminum housing provides superior heat dissipation creating higher output torque during operation. Neodymium Iron Boron magnets offer optimized torque density and the bearing retainer and o-ring help reduce motor noise in the application. Larger bearings enable higher side and radial loads. Stator enhanced magnets deliver up to 40% additional torque in the same package.
